my goodness this is the most dreaded blog post out of the entire 8 weeks dude
you hear the word ccr and then you get all like AHGRGEAEHGAAAHAAAAA
but in hindsight it's actually not that bad :D Let's get it out of the way now so I can get some sleep and be somewhat functional tmrw :D
OMG THE THINGS I DO FOR THIS CLASS DUDE COME ON GIVE ME AN A
LA C LA C Y LA R: CRITICAL CREATIVE UHH WAIT NO CREATIVE CRITICAL REflec CREATIVE CRITCAL REFLEC CRITICAL OMG GUYS ITS SO LATE
So thanks to you Cambridge lads being the most goated people of entire time and not requiring us to make 2 whole other videos along with our super duper rigorous, hard to make short film, I feel a little lighter and less worrisome about this years CCRS! WAHOO! The questions here this year for A level are a bit different than last year's so I think it's pretty worth taking the time and going through each question and plan out what I may answer each of them with so I won't be scrambling by week 8 :] Luckily, throughout our documentary time of the year, Tstok provided us with a super awesome lesson on CCR's so now we're chilling and now we know what to do :D Check it!
- All the dark comedies I researched way back in the day like The Amazing Digital Circus, Dan Da Dan, ENA, Jojo Rabbit etc.
- All the aspects from each media text that gave me inspiration/aspects from each that I researched in depth for my own film
- Big discussion on dark comedies
- Give specific examples from each media text that inspired some of the choices I made for The Scourge
- Give super awesome in depth description of The Scourge's target audience that I luckily already established within my branding post a couple weeks ago :D
- Discuss how my social media engages with target audiences (or how it doesn't)
- Discuss how postcard(s) engage with target audiences (or how it doesn't)
- Discuss how final short film engages with target audiences (or how it doesn't)
- Describe brand that I developed/wanted to developed (refer back to brand post)! I am a master on our film's branding so this question will be a nice and breezy piece of cake!
- Discuss how my social media develops a consistent brand (it does)
- Discuss how postcard(s) develop consistent brand
- Discuss how final film develops consistent brand (oh I will CHIP MY SOUL AWAY to achieve this well I'm telling you all NEOW)
- Talk about what can change to improve some of the brand development
- Discuss representation in our short film while including commentary on iconography + other representation terms we learned in the past
- Consider if The Scourge is successful in developing representation goals (do we develop the representation of harmful cults good, right? We develop idea of doing dumb things for power over others right? :D Stuffs like that!)
