In this class I have definitely learned that it's imperative to make a schedule for any big/ long term project and stick to it until it is done! So obviously as you probably assumed, my group and I made a schedule so we can finish this project efficiently and have enough time to clean things up!
THE SUPER AWESOME SCHEDULE:
-Start on costumes, develop theme and general vibe
WEEK 2 (2/10-2/16)
*Script writing/shot list
*Begin production
-Storyboard
-Final edits for script and shot list-finalize all pred-prod planning
-Begin filming!
WEEK 3 (2/17-2/23)
*Finish any additional filming that needs to be done
-Revise footage, check for errors
-Film with revisions in mind, bulk of filming done
-Start recording foley if needed
-Begin with editing
WEEK 4 (2/24-3/2)
*Editing!
-Line edit
-Re-record any foley (if needed)
-Begin on graphics edit
WEEK 5 (3/3-3/9)
*Editing!
-Finish up graphic editing
-Revise! Fix any errors
WEEK 6 (3/10-3/16)
*Clean up!
-Revise editing! Fix any errors
*Creative Critical Reflection! (CCR)
WEEK 7 (3/17-3/23)
*Creative Critical Reflection! (CCR)
-Research any info needed for reflection
-Create CCR!
-Edit and check for any errors on CCR
WEEK 8 (3/24-3/28)
*Edit and check for any errors on CCR
-Break! :)
My group and I will try our best to follow this schedule in order to complete the project before the due date. Unexpected setbacks are at risk but I think we will be able to stick through and end up creating something successful! We are currently on week 1, with so much more progress to be made, and I can't wait to see what we end up creating.
